Kalmunai Municipality is starting its great effort to take itself to international arena. Though kalmunai municipal council is only seven years old it has had a shortcoming of not having its own website. Today the website has been nicely designed and is being inaugurated. This website has aspects like past seven years development, shortcomings of people, organization structure, GIS map and source of information of the area. Kalmunai municipality is also introduced as one of the tourist attractions in terms of tourism industry via this website. We have installed a website containing our information to achieve our goals and to introduce ourselves and to interact with international municipalities and their people. Through this website, we have determined to make this kalmunai municipality an industrial and tourist hub by exploring Art, Culture, tradition, Business enterprises and tourist industry of kalmunai municipality.
